This was a great idea for my little girl except that the glue it came with to hold on the hearts didn't stick. All of the hearts fell off, and my little girl cried. I tried hot glue, but that also didn't work. I got annoyed with it and put it in a closet. : (

I love most of M&D toys, but this one needs more thinking on behalf of the company. few things to improve:

1) the wooden box on the top where they store the deco stuff, should be able to fit under the lid once the box has been opened. Currently it does not, so you have to keep it seperately, and there are no compartments inside the box if i recall currectly, so it would have been perfect if that part could just fit into the whole box

2) my purple glitter was lumpy and I had to work around that problem, i just created swirls that looked like roses on the boy with the purple because it was so lumpy.

3) more instructions and deco ideas would have been nice. you are pretty much thrown into being creative and I aint creative so it was just standard what i did with the box

overall, it was a good quality and perfect for my neice to store her jewelry.

My daughter received this jewelry box for her third birthday. I think she's a little young for it, because while she enjoyed decorating the box, it wasn't pretty and the glitter and paints made a mess, but she enjoyed the process and loved getting her own special box.

You would think the wooden tray on top of the box holding all of the decorating supplies would fit down in the jewelry box to become a part of it, but it doesn't. After decorating the box, there's nothing to do with the wooden tray.

Less than a month after my daughter's birthday, the lid came off. I know my daughter is only three, but she wasn't dragging the box around by the lid or anything. She was using it as a storage box for her tiny dolls. Now she's freaking out, and I have to figure out a way to reattach the lid.

I usually love Melissa and Doug toys because they are so durable, but this one definitely falls short.

I bought these beautiful teardrop ornaments for my christmas tree and loved them so much that I couldn't put them away after the holiday season...so I took clippings of my favorite house plants and am using the ornaments as rooting vases. I have them hanging in my kitchen window and have gotten so many compliments on them!

The invitations looked beautiful, but when we took to the printer, one box did not have the reply cards inside, so we were short by over half, some of the invitations were yellowed like they were older than others in the same box, the yellow ribbons did not match the color of the bows, and the reply cards were perforated instead of scored so when you fold them, the folded edge begins to tear off! We decided to tear them in half and use them flat instead of a folded card - that way we had enough since the boxes were short of cards! And the description led one to believe that programs were included and they were not. Also be aware that there is no "inside" envelope common to wedding invitations. Just the outside envelope. The printer could not come up with an envelope that would work as an inside envelope so we have to go without! Nice idea for invitations, but you had better check the boxes piece by piece as soon as they are received!Wilton Pressed Floral Wedding Invitation Kit

This kit comes EXACTLY like you see it, absolutely beautiful! The paper is presed with real flower petals and leaves and the cards for printing are also thick and good quality. Everything comes included in the box - envelopes for RSVP cards, ribbons, pre-tied bows, even tiny little double sided tape to hold the ribbon and bows together, but you should probably use hot glue instead since the double sided tape will show through. Very good value for money and absolutely beautiful invitations, I'm very pleased with this product and all of the Wilton items i purchased for my wedding. Would recommend highly to anyone interested in saving and looking for a trustworthy DIY kit that isn't hard to assemble!

I was kind of surprised to see some really bad reviews, as I had a really good experience. We got the "Sweet Hearts" invitations though, seems like the bad reviewers got some of the other options. I can say that the Sweet Hearts invitations look phenomenal!!! They are are very simple silver border with interlocking hearts at the top. I absolutely LOVE them. They also came with nice thick non-see-through envelopes... I know that seemed to be another issue with another kinds. They turned out so nice. And I spent only $75. Sooo inexpensive. So elegant and simple (which is what we are going for). Perfect.

It contains the basics only, but it is enough to try cheesemaking without spending a lot of money. The website has plenty of photos and free information that supliments the included booklet. You will have to improvise a cheese press, but that is simple and information can be found on the internet about this.

If you are sure you want to go into cheese making, then skip this and spend the money to get the right equipment.

First, you need to understand that this kit does not contain all that you need for making hard cheeses. As it says in the introduction to the instruction booklet, if you are making hard cheese, you must also have cheese wax. I don't know why they would sell a kit that doesn't contain all the necessary items, but at least you are now warned.

Second, the instructions are not written clearly. You would be MUCH better off getting your instructions off the Internet, and save your money.

The items in the kit are of fine quality, however, and if you do not really need instructions for cheese making, then this might be fine for you.
